Booking A Visit From An Equine Vet

You can book a visit by contacting us on 01332 294929 and speaking to our Client Care Team during normal working hours (08.30 – 17.30), and our dedicated answering service out of hours.

If you are not already registered with us they will need to take a few details before we can make an appointment.

Standard visits

on any week day

 

With our Standard Visits you can request any week day (including the same day that you call), specify a morning or afternoon visit, and request a specific vet providing they are available.

 

A charge will apply for the visit in addition to the procedure carried out and any drugs dispensed. When you pay at the time of the visit, or within 24 hours, you will qualify for a 10% discount.

Shared Yard Visit

to spread the cost

 

A Shared Yard Visit applies for visits booked to see three or more horses on the same yard at the same time.

 

These need to be booked by 5pm the day before the visit is required. As with our standard visits, you can request any week day, specify a morning or afternoon visit, and request a specific vet providing they are available.

 

No charge will apply for the visit and when you pay at the time, or within 24 hours, you will qualify for a 10% discount.

Bring your horse in to see us

at our Markeaton Practice

 

Save a visit charge by bringing your horse in to see us at our Markeaton Practice. We have dedicated facilities that allow us to examine and treat your horse in-practice.

 

A 10% discount is also available for qualifying items for prompt payment.

Protective Healthcare Visit

for routine preventative healthcare

 

You can request a Protective Healthcare Visit Monday to Friday, either am or pm, and your preferred vet and we will aim to accommodate you as best we can*

 

You can use this visit for your horse’s routine preventative healthcare, including vaccinations, routine dentistry, medication checks and dectomax injections (parasite control).

  • Payment must be made at time

* We cannot guarantee your time slot and preferred vet, but we will aim to accommodate you wherever possible.
